{"id":349,"date":"2016-01-19T15:02:59","date_gmt":"2016-01-19T15:02:59","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.pkipartner.support\/?page_id=349"},"modified":"2016-03-29T10:03:20","modified_gmt":"2016-03-29T10:03:20","slug":"install-certificate-installation-os-x-lion-10-7-server","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/pkipartner.com\/support\/install-certificate-installation-os-x-lion-10-7-server\/","title":{"rendered":"Install &#8211; OS X Lion (10.7) Server"},"content":{"rendered":"<h1><strong>Certificate Installation: OS X Lion (10.7) Server<\/strong><\/h1>\n<p><strong>To import your CA certificates, please perform the following:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Double click on the .crt file that you were sent.<\/li>\n<li>When asked which keychain, select &#8216;System&#8217; OR if you prefer the command-line, from Terminal type:<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 90px;\"><em>sudo \/usr\/bin\/security add-trusted-cert -d -r trustRoot -k &#8220;\/Library\/Keychains\/System.keychain&#8221; &#8220;\/path\/to\/ca-certificate\/here.crt&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n<p>NOTE: This is all one command, not two.<\/p>\n<p><strong>To import the SSL (entity) certificate, please perform the following:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Locate all of your certificate related files: private key, your certificate and CA certificates in Finder.<\/li>\n<li>In the &#8216;Server&#8217; app, select your server in the left-hand column, select the &#8216;Settings&#8217; tab and click the &#8216;Edit&#8217; button to the right of &#8216;SSL Certificate&#8217;.<\/li>\n<li>Click the &#8216;Actions&#8217; menu and select &#8216;Manage Certificates&#8217;.<br \/>\nA new dialog box slides down.<\/li>\n<li>Click the &#8216;Add&#8217; (+) button and select &#8216;Import a Certificate Identity&#8217; from the &#8216;Actions&#8217; menu.<\/li>\n<li>Drag your certificate and its private key from the Finder to the dialog box and then click the &#8216;Import&#8217; button.<\/li>\n<li>Select your imported certificate from the pop-up menu.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>Related Articles<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.pkipartner.com\/support\/csr-generating-a-certificate-signing-request-csr-using-openssl-apache-mod_ssl-nginx\/\">CSR generation using Open SSL<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Certificate Installation: OS X Lion (10.7) Server To import your CA certificates, please perform the following: Double click on the .crt file that you were sent.
