Certificate Installation: Exchange 2010 (Certificate Wizard)<\/h1>\n

Prerequisites:<\/strong><\/h3>\n

*<\/strong>\u00a0ZIP file you received from PKI Partner, or<\/p>\n

*<\/strong>\u00a0Your Exchange Certificate, which may be\u00a0yourDomain_com.crt<\/strong>\u00a0(or .cer) or Company name<\/strong>.crt (or .cer)<\/p>\n

Note:<\/strong>\u00a0These files need to be present on your Exchange Server in order to follow these instructions.<\/p>\n

  1. Start theExchange Management Console<\/strong>\u00a0by going to\u00a0Start > Programs > Microsoft Exchange 2010 > Exchange Management Console<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
  2. Click the link toManage Databases<\/strong>\u00a0and then go to\u00a0Server configuration<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
  3. Select your certificate from the menu in the center-button of the screen (Friendly Name specified during CSR generation process)
    \nand then click the link in the Actions menu (far right) to\u00a0Complete Pending Request<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
  4. Browse to your certificate file, clickOpen<\/strong>\u00a0then\u00a0Complete<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
  5. To enable your certificate for use, selectServer Configuration<\/strong>\u00a0and click the link to Assign Services to Certificate<\/strong>\u00a0(far right).
    \nAlternatively, you can right-click on your certificate and also select\u00a0Assign Services to Certificate<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
  6. Select your server from the list provided, then clickNext<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
  7. Select the services for which you would like to enable your new certificate, clickNext<\/strong>,Assign<\/strong>\u00a0then\u00a0Finish<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
  8. You now have an SSL certificate installed and enabled for use with Exchange.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
