{"id":437,"date":"2016-01-19T15:49:42","date_gmt":"2016-01-19T15:49:42","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.pkipartner.support\/?page_id=437"},"modified":"2016-02-23T14:25:22","modified_gmt":"2016-02-23T14:25:22","slug":"csr-os-x-server-10-5-10-6","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/pkipartner.com\/support\/csr-os-x-server-10-5-10-6\/","title":{"rendered":"CSR &#8211; OS X Server 10.5 &#038; 10.6"},"content":{"rendered":"<h1>OS X Server 10.5 &amp; 10.6<\/h1>\n<ol>\n<li>Start <strong>Server Admin<\/strong> and login to your server.<\/li>\n<li>Click <strong>Certificate<\/strong> icon across the top of the window.<\/li>\n<li>Press <strong>+ button<\/strong> and fill in the following information information for your CSR:\n<p><strong>Common Name:<\/strong> Enter the Fully Qualified Domain Name (FQDN) that you want to use with your SSL certificate. eg. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.comodo.com\/\">www.comodo.com<\/a>, mail.example.com, etc.<br \/>\n<strong>Organization:<\/strong> Enter the name for your company or organization.<br \/>\n<strong>Organizational Unit:<\/strong> Enter the name of your department of your organization.<br \/>\n<strong>City (Locality):<\/strong> Enter the name of your city.<br \/>\n<strong>State\/Province:<\/strong> Enter the name of your State\/Province\/L\u00e4n. Do not abbreviate.<br \/>\n<strong>Country Code:<\/strong> Enter the two-letter country code for your country.<\/li>\n<li>Press the <strong>Save<\/strong> button in the lower right hand corner of the window to save your details.<\/li>\n<li>Click the <strong>wheel<\/strong> button and a dropdown menu will appear and select <strong>Generate Certificate Signing Request<\/strong> (CSR) from the list.<\/li>\n<li>From the pop-up window that appears in the previous step, drag the icon in the upper-left hand corner of the window to the desktop and this will create your CSR file on your desktop.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>Note:<\/strong> You may open the CSR with any text-editor of your choice.<\/p>\n<p><strong>For Power Users:<\/strong> You may simply pop open a Terminal and follow our instructions for <a href=\"https:\/\/support.comodo.com\/index.php?_m=knowledgebase&amp;_a=viewarticle&amp;kbarticleid=3\">Apache<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>OS X Server 10.5 &amp; 10.6 Start Server Admin and login to your server.
