OS X Server 10.5 & 10.6<\/h1>\n

  1. Start Server Admin<\/strong> and login to your server.<\/li>\n
  2. Click Certificate<\/strong> icon across the top of the window.<\/li>\n
  3. Press + button<\/strong> and fill in the following information information for your CSR:\n

    Common Name:<\/strong> Enter the Fully Qualified Domain Name (FQDN) that you want to use with your SSL certificate. eg. www.comodo.com<\/a>, mail.example.com, etc.
    \nOrganization:<\/strong> Enter the name for your company or organization.
    \nOrganizational Unit:<\/strong> Enter the name of your department of your organization.
    \nCity (Locality):<\/strong> Enter the name of your city.
    \nState\/Province:<\/strong> Enter the name of your State\/Province\/L\u00e4n. Do not abbreviate.
    \nCountry Code:<\/strong> Enter the two-letter country code for your country.<\/li>\n

  4. Press the Save<\/strong> button in the lower right hand corner of the window to save your details.<\/li>\n
  5. Click the wheel<\/strong> button and a dropdown menu will appear and select Generate Certificate Signing Request<\/strong> (CSR) from the list.<\/li>\n
  6. From the pop-up window that appears in the previous step, drag the icon in the upper-left hand corner of the window to the desktop and this will create your CSR file on your desktop.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Note:<\/strong> You may open the CSR with any text-editor of your choice.<\/p>\n

    For Power Users:<\/strong> You may simply pop open a Terminal and follow our instructions for Apache<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
