Starting the 19 Augusti 2020 we will not be able to offer any longer validity then 1 year for public TLS certificates. Due to an industry-wide requirement set by Apple and Google, stating that any two-years TLS certificate issued after August 30, 2020 will be distrusted in their browsers.
This only applies to public TLS certificates. Private-root and other types of certificates (CodeSign, S/MIME etc) will be unaffected and will have the same maximum validity that they have today.

If your not happy with only 1-year certificate, you can subscribe on certificates with 2 or 3 years validity. Meaning your certificatge costs will be lower compared buying 2 or 3 1-year certificates. You will have to make a re-issue of your certificate each year and also answer to the Domain Control Validation, but you pay only every second or third year.

All certificates issued (first validity date) before 12:00 am on August 19, 2020 will be valid for two years (up to 825 days) After that only 1 year certificate will be issued.

If you are interested in longer validity periods, contact us via e-mail: validation@pkipartner.com.
